1990s

Just like the 1980s, the 1990s was influenced by films, TV shows, Hollywood, and music, however swayed towards a more clean silhouette with subdued colours. The goth and grunge look was very prominent in the 1990s being followed mostly by teenagers because of the massive increase of grunge music.
During the 1990s, Lycra clothing made it's mark in women's clothing, producing more of a sporty look which included crop tops, halter necks and miniskirts.
Towards the end of the 1990s, fashion went towards the more conventional clothing which included a mishmash of everything.
